Angelito: Batang Ama

I'm so back in blogworld LOL. I just saw the teaser of Angelito: Batang Ama and well...it kind of not made me more excited about the show but...uhm...I'm lost. I can't express the reason what made me blog about it so I'll just skip this. It's getting annoying :P

The show is basically about a normal high school guy (Angelito) who dreams big for his family. A typical responsible Filipino (or trying to be), I should say. Until one day, he meets this girl and they click so they become boyfriend-girlfriend. They had sex....the girl gets pregnant and here comes the plot...

What made me excite about the show is the story's point of view. Usually with this kind of plots, it's the girl who will be the center of the story. Well, most of soap operas in TV have women as their protagonist. But here, it's the guy so it kinda have a refreshing view. I hope ABS has a good script for this concept. If it's another cliche, I might like drop it once Devon's appearance will be like in Mula sa Puso. I guess, that's the reason why I felt nothing when I saw the teaser. I saw CLICHE. All caps. I hope I'm wrong though.

Hmmm..I'm guessing that Maribeth will own this episode (or not :P) with those cute boylets surrounding her. And I think I should thank the people behind the show for always pushing acting abilities to its limits (Am I exaggerating?) Well, my baby seems not to be the type who easily cries so to be able to give scenes like that to a beginner, that's something I am thankful of as her fan. Yah know, she might have those in the future so the show is like her training ground.

And as you can see, baby Devs is such a good student for she did those dramatic scenes with flying colors.

I hope I didn't bore you with my speech. I just happen to be proud of her yah know :)

Hmmm...sorry writers but I have a problem with Maribeth's script here.

Maribeth: Hoy! Kung sa 'yo wala lang ang pera..kasi mayaman ka di ba? Pero sa amin, pwedeng masira ang buhay namin dahil diyan.

See how the thought (of the lines) is hard to follow? At first, I thought, it was Devon. But now, it's either her or them. If this is really the script, I think anyone will have a difficulty delivering it. Something's just not right, I'm sorry.

But if Devon made an adlib here, then that would be another story.

Magandang araw sa mga nagbabasa ng aking blag. Nagtataka siguro kayo ngayon kung bakit nasa wikang Filipino ang kasuluyang ipapaskil ko. Ako ay merong dahilan. Una, dahil nakasulat sa wikang Filipino na may kaunting wikang Ingles ang drama na aking pinapanood tuwing alas sais ng gabi. Ito nga ay ang Mula Sa Puso. At pangalawa, dahil balak kong gumawa ng mga maiikling kwento na may kinalaman sa sinusubaybayan kong palabas sa ngayon. At siyempre, ang mga kwentong ito ay isusulat ko gamit ang ating pambansang wika.

Gaya ng inyo na sigurong alam, ako ay kinikilig sa tambalan nina Devon Seron at Enrique Gil. Bagay ang dalawang ito sa akin palagay at isa ako sa nagagalak sa kanilang pagkakaibigang walang malisya. Kaya ako ay nakakaramdam ng konting kahungkangan na hindi sila magtatambal sa Mula Sa Puso. Ngunit iyon ay maluwag sa puso kong naiintindihan sapagkat ang kanilang mga karakter ay kaunti lamang ang ugnayan sa isa't isa. Si Michael (Enrique) ay lubos na umiibig kay Via at si Mariel naman ay katulong ng pamilya ng babaeng iniibig ng una, bukod pa sa iba naman talaga ang makakapareha ni Devon dito.

Ito ang nag-udyok sa akin upang gumawa ng mga kwento na aaliw sa akin at sana ay maging sa inyo. Hindi ko nais na maimpluwensiyahan ang skrip na nakabaybay na ngayon. Ngunit nais kong punan ang aking pantasya tungkol sa tambalan nina Michael at Mariel. At nawa ito ay aking masimulan at matapos.

Maraming salamat sa pagbabasa sa paskil kong ito. Muli, magandang araw sa lahat.

Good Vibes full trailer. This will be shown on April 3. I just love how Maribeth (Devon's character) seems to play an important role in Troy's (Enrique's character) life. She in included in the trailer. Can't be helped, I guess. ;)

I can feel Good Vibes already <3 I love their MV. It's so cute! Bret Jackson did a good job singing the song. Though he had some akward moments, I'll still grade him excellent for this video.

The editing is also nice. I think I already had an idea about the plot after watching the video. The roles of Ivan Dorschner, Kazel Kinouchi, Chikara Nawa and Heidi Riego are not clear though. I hope they'll get longer exposures once the show aired.

And because I am a big fan of Devon Seron, I feel proud while watching the MV. I so love her expressions! Girl, you made me believe that your character is secretly in love with your best friend. You nailed it!

I just so love Devon's scenes in the video:

Scene 1: When Troy, holding flowers, approached Maribeth. I like Devon's transition of expression --- from surprise to "okay yan pare!" look

Scene 2: A snapshot. She's so pretty :D

Scene 3: When I supposed, they won on a competition. DevQuen <3

Scene 4: Chicken dance! My gosh! My baby was so adorable! Jaevon's smiles were so cute <3
